Manage Innovation and Continuous Improvement

The purpose of the unit is to articulate the range of skillset and knowledge that are essential to design a range of production process, by complying with the organizational protocols and parameters. Moreover, the unit familiarizes students with the key skills required to design critical operational documents for an organization. The process of establishing, developing and maintaining the standards of the design are also among the key skills that are offered through the unit. The unit is applicable for students across a wide range of industrial sectors. One of the key features of the unit is that it familiarizes students with a range of updated analytical software tools. Updated knowledge about the software tools can be leveraged as key aspects of the overall employability portfolios in the long run. The knowledge related to document design will guide the students to develop and design operational manuals, in accordance with the organizational requirements.

The unit is designed to provide a holistic idea regarding key concepts related to continuous improvement an innovation. The students are offered a concrete idea about the importance of accommodating continuous improvement as a part of their development in the chosen professional field. The course will ideally help the students to acquire knowledge regarding the importance of consistent development within the workplace. The unit provides adequate knowledge about the range of software skills and other relevant technological skill required to implement continuous improvement and innovation within an organization. Location:Victoria Study level: - Vocational and further education (TAFE) Unit code:- BSBMGT608

The assessment will require the students to display their knowledge regarding designing and testing of documentations as per organizational protocols. The assessment tasks will include the display of technological skills, as per the requirements of the organizations. The testing and monitoring of document templates will be part of the overall assessment specifications. The costing and document production techniques will also be key parts of the assessment.

BSBMGT608 Manage Innovation And Continuous Improvement is essentially a full-time course which will require students to obtain a minimum of 50% to pass and qualify. The unit is comprised of two assessments, each with a minimum eligibility criterion of 50%. Minimum qualification for written section for each assessment is 35%. Activities such as group discussions, presentations will have 15% weightage.
