Network Project Management

The coursecode MN601 symbolises the five digit alphanumeric code which is used by the respective institutions for segregating the different types of courses. The main reason for using the course code can be seen with creating in a new student account and proceeding with the enrolment request. The following course code is associated with Melbourne Institute of Technology situated in St, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia.

Location:- Australia Study level:- Graduation Unit code:- MN601

Introduction The unit aims to cover the topics related with project management closure and integration. In addition to this, it also addresses various aspects of ethics, risk management and project quality. It is further worth noting how the project assessment is related with budgeting projects, resourcing and scheduling. In particular, the briefe of the assessment is associated with details of implementation about “software defined networking (SDN)” in an organisation which enhances the system platform related to networking. In an environment of cloud computing, SDN can be considered as an integral characteristics which is conducive for an organisation to prevent the threats of DDOS which is increasing on a continuous basis. It is further worth noting how the adaptation to SDN would not only allow the companies to work on such a threat but also improve the overall operations of cloud computing platform. We can clearly state that SDN is conducive for developing dynamic updating and security measure, capability to make software-based traffic analysis and assist in centralised control of the system which aids in taking action on detection to avoid any instance of DDOS attacks. Main Body A company capable of implementing SDN is seen to be achieving relevant goals for the purpose of reducing the vulnerability is associated with competency of the system and DDOS. In addition to this, the competency of the system is associated with physical and mental on the central platform and service delivery centre. Based on the goals and objectives of SDN the key business objectives is conducive for developing and examining the measures which lowers the possibility of attack related to DDOS. In the present market era the changes related to the adaptation and augmentation of the cloud platform is seen with a dominant threat in relation to cloud computing. The important form of threat in association with DDOS in cloud computing is useful for authorising the relevant users in obtaining the access to network resource. As a result of this, increasing nature of the vulnerability associated with the company evaluates the superior countermeasure and networking protocols. It is further worth noting how the significant networking tools as per SDN based cloud is useful for facilitating secured physical networking space in a software which minimises the possibility of any form of threat. The project scope of the assessment is further based on facilitation of modernising the traditional networking stem which is required in an organisation for minimising the downtime, following a centralised networking system, reducing the DDOS attacks and improving the overall security related to the business. The adoption of such a draft policy is associated with providing various scope of the business which manages the dynamic updating of the forwarding rules and networking flow. Furthermore, it is also able to contribute to provisioning of organisational network and centralisation of the management. Furthermore, it is useful in quickly dealing with the changing requirements and meeting new threats which is important for deploying new security platform, services and applications. This on the project requirements, the fundamental requirement for the organisation is seen in term of fulfilling the changes associated with minimising the existing threats, fulfilling any form of changes pertaining to the requirement and maximising the advantage. The body form of benefits was competition of the project can be seen in terms of the motivation to carry out a certain project. In this regard, it is important to consider the various types of funding requirements which is essential as a prerequisite of any project. The implementation and designing aspect of SDN cloud in an organisation is able to fund close to $100000. Important resource consideration of the project can be taken into account as per the relevant network of SDN which is to be developed in an organisation. In addition to this, the estimated time required for SDN implementation can take around 50 days after scrutiny done by the expert. The responsibilities as per the project team members can be identified to be having different set of responsibilities and roles in completing the varied nature of activities related to the project. The team members on a project is sending to the supporting the members, project manager, system designer, system engineer along with the main analyst. It is important to understand that the main form of role played by the analysts in determination of the threat of DDOS is essential for SDN in mitigating such problems. The responsibilities under the project team members develop a deep understanding of the existing issues of DDOS thread and the SDN assists in resolving such threats. The project designer has a responsibility to take into consideration the relevant requirement of the project as per suitability of the objectives of the business and level of DDOS threats. The designer on the other hand is responsible for monitoring the essential framework of SDN infrastructure. The manager has the responsibility of ensuring that the work of the project is being carried out as per the project plan and in accordance with the pre determined resources. Conclusion On a concluding note, we are able to identify that in order to address the DDOS threat that option of SDN is inevitable in an organisation. Therefore, SDN is seen to act as a efficient and lightweight scalable cloud program which is able to avoid the possible threat of DDOS. The groups of the DDOS attacks are categorised mainly into southbound and not bomb. The developing of two layers in the SDN is further identified with SDO and SUEAK. SDO is required for application development role and SQUEAK is essential in the data layer control interface.
